Joe L Barnes
Joel Barnes, known as Joe L, a Kentucky native, is a songwriter and worship leader at The Shepherd’s Tent in Covington, Georgia. He not only has a passion for song writing, but also burns to teach and equip others with the tools needed to create and release their sound of authenticity. In April of 2020, Joe L, along side Maverick City released the song, “Promises” that reignited hope and reminded many of the faithfulness of God. He co-wrote the song with Carrington Gaines, Keila Alvarado Merin, Lemuel Marin, Dante Bowe, and Aaron Moses, and it was nominated for “Gospel Worship Recorded Song of the Year” in the 2020 GMA Dove Awards.
